The St. Ann Youth Choir is the pre-eminent sacred music children’s choir in the Diocese of Palm Beach. The 75-plus children range in age from 7-18 and sing under the direction of composer Christopher Hogan. SAYC provides music for masses and concerts at their home parish of St. Ann Catholic Church and throughout our Diocese and beyond.

Established in 2014, SAYC has recorded three albums – including the 2023 release of Water of the Soul, participated in two European singing tours and twice been featured on Sounds from the Spires on Sirius XM’s The Catholic Channel.

SAYC celebrates 10 years this Fall!

Just 10 years ago, 12 children who loved to sing came together weekly and began to rehearse and provide music at school masses with the support of our former Pastor Fr. Nestor Rodriguez. Now – a decade later – the choir is 75+ members strong; SAYC has produced three albums comprised mostly of Mr. Hogan’s original music, and later this year the choir will embark on a third European singing tour.

These highlights gloss over the hard work, dedication and commitment that these children have shown throughout countless rehearsals and choir camps, while providing music for masses and concerts throughout our Diocese and, of course, singing right at our home Parish of St. Ann.

As we continue our birthday celebration through the remainder of 2024, you can hear the children of SAYC sing as follows:

At. St. Therese de Lisieux Catholic Church on November 9 at 4:30 p.m. and November 10 at 9:30 a.m.; 11800 Lake Worth Road, Wellington, FL 33449

At their home Parish of St. Ann Catholic Church on November 17 and December 8 at 9:30 a.m. and on December 24 at 4:30 p.m.; 310 North Olive Avenue, West Palm Beach, FL 33401

At St. John Fisher Catholic Church on November 24 at 10 a.m.; 4001 North Shore Drive, West Palm Beach, FL 33407

The children depart on December 27th to celebrate Christmas by sharing their gift at churches, holy sites and Christmas markets throughout Austria and Germany.




SAYC’s 3rd album, Water of the Soul, was recorded and released in 2023 and can be found on all major streaming platforms.
